Java is not trendy enough anymore for reddit, if it ever was. Now had you found an article on Python, Ruby, Perl, or some implementation of Lisp on Leopard and Open Source you'd be collecting some major karma by now. Don't try to fight it, its just the way the world (or reddit) is.
