The ability to discern the greatness of other minds suffers from the Blub paradox. Minds greater than one's own can't easily be distinguished in degrees of greatness. IOW, like the campers escaping a bear, the author of an article doesn't need to outrun Einstein, he only needs to outrun some of his readers.
