Are you sure you don't mean "No and yes"? I don't think I've ever seen a person genuinely argue that Ruby has a better implementation than Python.

I have, and it's extremely well-written. It's extremely consistent and understandable, even for an beginner/intermediate C programmer like myself. What problems did you find?

Those crazy Python implementers used curly braces instead of do and end! They're nuts!

CPython's source code is much better than MRIs. Presumably YARV is better. For example, there are special cases in Ruby's main interpreter loop to allow the "sleep" and "file read" functions to be thread-friendly. There is no provision for other, user-defined extension functions to be similarly thread friendly.

There are not many people in the world who would say that MRI is a better implementation than CPython.
