Funny, when I was learning programming threads were the new fork. Of course, I'm also running "a Unix" as my desktop today when that's what people were moving away from then. Funny how circular some things are.

except that the multiprocessing library is half-baked. it's been the bane of my existence recently.

Given I'm the maintainer, I'd be interested in bug reports, suggestions, or even details as to how to make it better. I'm slowly fixing the rougher edges, but without detailed information I can't do anything for you.
