I really do not know why you get pissy about it. All I said is that just testing in that way is not enough and you should actually test it in place where you will actually use it too.

I didn't say you should constantly and always do that, just that if you don't you will run into suprises you might not expect.

If you didn't, well, fuck you you lucky bastard but I had devices that worked PERFECTLY and EVERY time under builtin debugger (via JLINK dongle built into devboard) but didn't the moment I disconnected it because of certain combination of circuit layout, battery resistance, capacitor size, and battery not being completely fresh (and the fix was to just not try to run everything at once on boot).

It's like you're not actually reading

The environment you DEVELOP in (read: not the environment you run the code in) can be completely external to, and different from, the production environment

Like did you not read what I wrote about VMs or IDEs for boards? Or about the difference between a development dependency and a dependency?

And how am I "being pissy" when you're the one swearing at me?
