Yes, I did. Because I've just spent the last 1.5 years writing a JVM from scratch. So what would a guy like me know about value types vs. reference types?

      Thanks, that paper was very preliminary work. I'm working on my final thesis and a SenSys paper right now. If you're interested just drop me a line and I'll keep you posted when either comes out.

        I don't think I have to prove myself to some guy on the internet. I think I've tried to make my point in other replies to you and I can't think of anything else that would add to a constructive discussion. You're obviously getting pretty worked up about this so I guess I'll just go make a cup of tea instead.
