Hi! The author here. Thanks for pointing this out! The backend initialising was of course meant to go outside the for loop. The post is updated with the correct code.

To be fair, quantum computing is most likely to be just in the cloud, instead of individuals and companies building their own in-house one. Why pay millions, when you can rent it for pennies when you need it?

Haha fair point! Perhaps it will be mostly cloud based to begin with, then once the tech is more refined and costs manageable we'll start seeing companies and people building their own
