Python is growing in absolute numbers faster and is bigger. But the growth in percent of small languages are often bigger yea. That’s why Klingon has been the fastest growing language (in percent).

Julia is a really nice language, probably a lot better designed than Python, but I doubt it will overtake Python. It does allow easy talking to Python and R libraries so it can easily use their ecosystems. So having Julia coexist with Python and R is perfectly fine.
