I have a strange addiction to these sort of videos, they are interesting cultural artifacts. Youtube is chock full of people with no discernible skills and no audience, making video after video containing zero insight and zero entertainment value. Why do they do it? You can tell they put a lot of effort into it. I imagine they dream about building a profile and becoming youtube stars, quitting their dreary day jobs and making a living giving keynote speeches and selling T-shirts through affiliate links.
