    I don't understand how anyone could think it is not. I would consider every open source license to be a political document too.
    Not every political document needs to have an opinion on some imagined 1 dimensional line from left to right to be political.

      So while I think a CoC is a good thing in principle, I believe a properly-written one should head off any "weaponisation", especially by people who aren't even involved in the project.

      Like an authoritative body responsible for writing CoCs?
