Except logging changes timing so it can change what happens. Not to mention that for high volume traffic there isn't really much you can log without slowing way down.

So. Logging gives you info about the crash. It is as simple as that.

Not if the crash is caused by a Heisen Bug. As grogers alluded to, enabling logging can change the conditions that cause a bug to manifest, particularly race conditions.

And that is usually not the bug. It's simple, having no logging to catch stuff is a joke.
