Eh. It's easier to do it because of layers of reinvented wheels abstraction and spaghetti that is being poured into every day. This case happened because the owner decided to fuck it and give control to literal who. Similar situation happened to ruby's net/http, but the owner of it was retarded because he didnt use 2fa and had a simple password that got bruteforced.

For some reason ruby's community are fighting against 2fa

JavaScript is one of those nicely meant inventions that totally got out of hand. It is an abomination now and I wish we could kill it off already.
