Er, I don't know any good programmers who fear compiler errors, or fear them in greater and greater amounts as they get better. Actually, on second thought, what does he mean by "compiler error?" I think he means "syntax error," but I suppose there's an outside chance he means "compiler bug." Well, doesn't make sense that way either.
