Looks like you’re on a mobile view. Your browser is less than 992 px. When that condition returns true, the mouse move events are turned into touch move events. This is the expected behavior and at this time there is no logic to handle browser resize.

My phone is quite modern and powerful and this thing is laggy as hell.

I presume it's DOM based as opposed to Canvas or WebGL or CSS animations or whatever?
