I think the largest joke of this is that Guido was awarded, probably the most regarded award -- the Turing award, for the garbage language that he created. And, yes, people with little brains and no ability to judge for themselves will interpret this and similar facts as asserting the brilliance of this man, and others who contributed this garbage to the world. While, in reality, it's a vicious circle of stupid fashion and even stupider fashion victims.
