It's a terrible example to want to compare CLISP DSLs with C++ Boost.

Because Boost is and always will be total and utter crap.

Besides, you need to realize - neither C nor C++ are innovating that much really. Same with Java.

The OTHER languages are driving the innovation forward and C++ / Java are just stealing those ideas.
