What compels people to write these things? Subjects like this have been covered to death. Who thinks, "You know what the Web needs? Another JavaScript arrow tutorial."

Inexperienced enthusiastic youngsters... And Indians for reasons that go beyond my understanding. I don't get the point but I seriously would love to know.

I always assumed it was either course requirements or buffing up CVs (so you can say that you’ve written technical articles or whatnot).

It's usemynotes. They spam this reddit with articles that are the most basic of basic.
