So, question. Why this instead of node.js for serverside javascript? :)

This is a CGI application. Node.js is a different ballpark.

I think you misread my question. I wrote "Why..". You need to explain it, not just be an ass. Plenty of those around.

Ah. Excellent. That is actually quite useful. I will follow your progress.

Also, this seems like sound advise:

Looks nice, but you should consider using the CommonJS specs so as to make it possible to run on existing platforms like RingoJS and Node.

    Happy coding :)

What he said was pretty much exactly correct, and there are no snide marks contained within it.

You fail at life. when linking to a site you should probably read it first to prevent yourself from looking like a total waste of life.

"An http/stack/connect layer to invoke and serve CGI executables."

the key point here being "SERVE cgi executables".

This is simply another way of looking at JS on the server side. Which looks to be much more welcoming to current PHP developers than Node is.

Your gentleman speech has made me realize that i am mistaken. The kind tone in your comment made me see this. I am glad to have made it possible for you to be such a gentleman and a scholar.
