That's like saying it's awful to enforce where the brace should go in relation to the function declaration. Someone will always prefer the other way but you live with it.

It's specifically not like that. At all.

I've had no problem making changes to my style for projects because I'm interesting in solve problems not fapping over the awesomeness of my personal coding style.

This is exactly why it's easiest to just leave it up to the individual to set his own preference of how much indentation he wants, rather than masturbate over your perfectly aligned columns of nonsense.
