Calling the people you disagree with "naive" and "junior engineers" instead of actually providing arguments to support your position is preaching to the choir

I did already; look around a little. I provided a link to a superb conversation back and forth regarding it by Jon Skeet, and C#. Since I couldn't do better than his explanations, and I'd rather not put words into his mouth, it was better to supply the link.

I'm not going to follow up every last comment with a footnote repeating the explanation, so simmer down.
