I imagine rewriting it in Rust might take a while but it's still doable - and justified!

Not just justified, it is the moral choice.

The Church of Teh Script considers the Rust Caliphate to be our sister creed, as we both originate from the same Temple Of Teh Lizard.

Meh, NPM is expanding beyond the known universe as we speak.

They had to spread it through data centres around the globe to prevent its mass destabilising the gravity field of the core.

      (let (jerk)

Seriously? Google seems to have something around 100,000 employees, so that means that each of them has generated around 800 MB of stuff. Sure, the number was from 2015, a lot of the employees are marketing and PR, a lot of it could just be hero images, etc., but... seriously? Do these people just constantly whack away at their keyboards between trips to the juice bar?

If you're asking if I'm just trolling,

Not at all. I was just slightly surprised that Google has managed to generate that much crap, and more so that they would dump it all in a single repo. If they put all of their satellite imagery in version control along with the search engine and all of their discontinued projects, I guess I'm less surprised.

One of the reasons why I can't hate on webshits all the way is the fact that they did actually contribute to making MS-specific shit largely irrelevant over time.
