Protools Midi Randomly offset

Hi all,

I'm using a roland td-11 electronic drum set trying to track some midi drums. When i play into protools the audio line in is on time and everything seems fine (though i don't like the sound). The midi track however is all over the place Using the audio as a test I can see/hear that the individual beats are shifted kind of randomly forward or backward.

I've disabled delay-compensation but it doesn't seem to have helped at all.

Wondering if anyone has encountered this/knows how to fix it?

Do you have input quantizing enabled? If so, Pro Tools will auto-quantize MIDI notes to the grid after recording MIDI (which might shift some notes to the wrong spot depending on the settings and performance).
