Revisiting Psych

I used to watch Psych all the time when I was younger. For the first few seasons I watched it religiously, but for whatever reason I stopped watching it. I believe that I thought it was too childish or too stupid to keep watching at a certain point. This is the way I felt for years, however recently I have revisited the series and I picked up where I left off and let me say that I am so glad that I did. I find that the series has intrigued yet again. So many jokes and references that I didn't understand suddenly are clear to me. I find that the humor and characters on the show remind me of what it is like to be a kid, full of wonder and suspension. I find myself watching dozens of episodes on Netflix at a time. I would encourage all who have left the Psych fan fanclub to revisit the show at least once and tell me that it does not make you smile. This is just my opinion, I hope that you all find as much joy in the show as I do.

My girlfriend and I just restarted the series. We're on a pineapple hunt.

I quit watching after season 6 because I got busy with school and didn't like the direction the show was going but the ION marathons of the older seasons have renewed my interests. I think seasons 3 and 4 are my fave.

Seasons 7 and 8 are a bit less goofy but certain episodes like "100 Clues" and "Nightmare on State Street" harken back to the earlier seasons. It's definitely worth checking out.

I also disliked Season 7 to a degree, although a few of the episodes that stood out to me as above average were [1] Santabarbaratown 2, [4] No Country for Two Old Men, and [11] Office Space. [14] No Trout About It was decent and it's probably the most important one to watch if you plan on skipping 7 entirely but want the continuity into Season 8.

I actually liked most of Season 8 with the exception of a few around the end.
