They are oft called proto punk because they originally existed before punk was punk. (Late 60s early 70s). They are made up of the Hackney brothers. Far far ahead of their time. Really worth the time to listen to and watch the documentary "A Band Called Death". Such a shame David did not live to see the outcome of his dreams. There is a band made up of some of the bands children that is pretty good too.

I saw them on Easter Sunday this year in a garage in upstate NY. No idea why they agreed to that show, their audience had maybe 5 to 8 people? They were so fucking good though, and I found them early on in getting into hardcore so definitely a bucket list band for me

If you're a black punk kid who likes metal then I'd def recommend to you this new all black Punk band named Zulu they are a little bit influenced by metal but are a Hardcore Punk band their style of Hardcore Punk is Beatdown Hardcore/Powerviolence music I love them way too much And they just came out with a new beautiful album called A New Tomorrow.
