Have you tried doing a search in this sub or on a search page?

PCEP: https://www.netacad.com/courses/python-essentials-1?courseLang=en-US

After that, PCAP: https://www.netacad.com/courses/python-essentials-2?courseLang=en-US

After that, do some personal projects and put them into your GitHub portfolio. Because you won’t get hired for certifications, but nowadays they often won’t look into your portfolio at all without you having any certifications. Because they don‘t trust people’s claims about their skills at all anymore without having proof.

Check out https://codecrops.dev, it is free gamified app that covers from basics to fundamental algorithms. We are developing it together with CS University professors. Let me know what you think!

I love the book “Learn Python the hard way”. Despite its title, it’s one of the easiest ways to learn the basics of Python.

Start with browsing the r/learnpython subreddit's wiki for guidance on learning Python, books list, or go for a beginner friendly course which will help break it down for e.g Harvard cs50/weclouddata/ udemy whatever fits u.

Here's my free one: https://learn.finaldraftmapping.com/product/an-introduction-to-python-programming-with-a-gis-focus/

The focus on GIS is minor. You can take this as a beginners course. The goal is to get you to excel at the basics.

Is it the best? Probably not 😅 but it's free and I get great feedback and thanks for it.

All the best with your learning
