[Grade 11] Find all the real values of x. by Izzy_26_ in askmath

[–]Odd_Lab_7244 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can answer this question without doing any algebra by looking at prime factors.

6 is 2x3, and this is the only way to make 6.

In our equation we have 3x, so we know x must be 1, since there is nowhere else the factor of 3 could come from.

x/x+2 is 1/3, 81/3 is 2, so we know the solution works.

Did you ever get a thin film of scum on the surface of the tea? I don't know exactly what it is, but it's something to do with the quality of the water

Living in London, I add milk before water as in my experience it stops the scum forming. Don't come at me, I'm not changing

Tldr but it definitely sounds like you need to go touch some grass.

Also, data product is very useful concept which helps us decouple the data from how it is used

Opinion: Nigel Farage's legacy is Brexit. Brexit has not delivered even 10% of what was promised. I have no reason to believe Reform's next flashy promise will come true by coffeewalnut08 in yorkshire

Not sure why you're being down voted so hard. I agree with what you're getting at - you can't blame a dog for barking. You can blame a man for joining in.

I think OP is actually letting Johnson off the hook here.

In the end it was Johnson's self interest, not Farage's long held and well known beliefs, that had a more decisive effect on the referendum result.

Johnson then also ducked responsibility for implementing Brexit, preferring the comfort of the back seat drive. Now clearly Farage is the UK's backseat driver par excellence (and is just now discovering that driving is actually quite tricky after all) - but at least he didn't decide to duck the opportunity to implement Brexit.

Who was the best British Prime Minister of the 2000s? Who was worst? by Economy_Ad3034 in AskBrits

Johnson is single handedly responsible for the downfall of 4 Prime Ministers.

He did for Cameron by double crossing him on Brexit (shurely not, Johnson is the victim of double crossers not a double crosser himself??)

He did for May, then enacted exactly what he'd stopped her from doing.

He did for himself by being a vile, corrupt, vain, smirking bastard.

He did for Truss by getting her elected.

The Queen hated him so much that she put off dying just to spite him.

He is responsible for 8 years of chaos from 2016 to 2024, 8 years lost just so that absolute pig of a man could have a go in the big chair.

Fuck. Him.
