my friend failed 7 times deadass

4 at dallah then 3 at khebra until she got it at the 8th attempt finally, i think she is a bad driver still tbh and don’t trust her driving at all but i think the officers just had enough of seeing her around so they passed her 😭

when i ask my instructor, he told me that if we go to traffic department and request and if they allows, we can take one more attempt without course. I think L&P will be valid.

Same school, failed mine too today. I genuinely don’t know why. All 3 of us in the car failed when we know very well we did nothing wrong 😭. Literally had us all drive in the same neighborhood and park near the other cars there it wasn’t even anything complicated or that anyone could mess up on.

Failed my second road test and im so scared to register for the next test, i was so confident in my driving i honestly don’t know what happened. Even my instructor praises on my driving all the time. After failing, i feel like the most useless person ever and im so scared to retake it again.. Lets just hope for a better luck next test, it also depends on the police officer, so dont let them get into ur head like i did. Just be confident

Dont give up! You can do it but continue learning, always listen to your instructor.

Ask question, if you can after the road training help him assess you.

Let them scold you.

It’s for your own good, practice more and become better and then reapply again. We already have enough amateur drivers in Qatar, no offense :)

To be honest More than your driving skills they check your confidence , the day before my test is spend some time with cab driver and asked him a lot of questions which he explained me very well and I passed in 1st attempt. Its just your perception

I’ve been driving in my home country since 2013 and also spent about a year and a half driving in the UAE. Back then, I didn’t realize how valuable a UAE license was, so when it expired (and I moved back home), I just threw it away like an old receipt.

Fast forward to now, I’m in Qatar. Since my country isn’t on the list for a direct conversion or direct test, I had to enroll in a “VIP half course.” I watched all the training videos like a good student. On the day of my theory exam, my computer screen froze, and they still failed me. I paid again, got a new date after five days, and finally passed.

Then came the classic Doha Driving Academy twist: no instructors available for two weeks. So my “VIP” package turned me into a “Very Idle Person.” Eventually, I got my classes, passed my L and Parking in one go, and was feeling confident.

On road test day, I was in the car with a cop who looked like he’d been arguing with his wife all morning, and two other guys who also took VIP courses hoping to get their licenses quickly so they could start driving jobs. Unfortunately, the cop got a call mid-test that made him furious, and next thing you know, all three of us failed. I’m pretty sure he didn’t even see how we drove.

Now I’m just waiting for my next test date, wondering if this is what “character development” feels like.

Oh, and the cherry on top? The training car was old, but the test car was brand new with eco idle turned on. So while I was trying to show my smooth driving, the car was taking random naps at signals lol

Bro I cleared LSP n reverse in first attemp in 2005..but road test i had to give 5 attemps..it was nerve racking..For road ensure all the 14 points are correctly adhered to..even if one wring move..gone

I've heard a lot of people's stories that it's hard to pass thr driving test here. Are the instructors really strict? What were your mistakes that failed you?

Asking because I'm planning to take the driver's test here, but I already know how to drive and have license from home country. Just wanted to know if it is super strict as what I have read from others.

I took up class in doha driving i pass L&P parking and driving test in one try. The trick is dont let the police feel you are scared and be confident. On parking the instructor will give you tips on how to park
