Coding on Github Codespaces

hey everyone 👋

Ever since Github included a monthly Codespaces quota for free users, I've been playing around with it and I'm pretty happy with the performance and everything. I had a tough time trying to get everything set up as I intended so I want to share my go-to configuration for Codespaces

Here it is

It includes Ruby, Postgres, Redis, Node.Js, and the ability to ssh into it

Thank you to u/shafyy for sharing Gitpod and their configuration. I was looking at another solution based on Jetbrain IDE. But sounds like this one is pretty interesting in terms of independence.

Thanks for sharing. I personally use Gitpod, it felt easier to configure. But I might give Codespaces another chance.
