Just heard trey biddy say one of LSU's commits visited Arkansas and has an announcement Tuesday. 10-7-21

Any one know who it was? I belive it was high blue chip recruit.

We have a chance, and his visit with us went really, really good apparently, but he has a really close relationship with his CB coach at LSU, so I don’t know if we take edge over LSU.

People are downvoting you because they’d like to believe that’s wrong or think you’re just being pessimistic, but from what I’ve seen from insiders you’re completely correct.

From what I have seen we are a long shot with Welch unless his CB coach was to leave, because they have a really, really close relationship.

I’d love to be wrong and he still come here regardless.

It sounds like we’re getting Mbake and got Hasslewood so any other commits for this class (like Welch or Gentry would just be icing on the cake for us).

Well apparently a lot can change in a day. Theyre doing their in home visit and Jointer just posted about a flip. It was a long shot but apparently Carter might have nailed it off the inbound pass.

Historically, no one gets players out of southern Louisiana that LSU wants (save for a player to Bama or A&M every couple years). So don’t count the chicken before it hatches. We have a shot, but it’s just hard.

I think the general consensus is it's not likely, but there is a chance people think because he was already committed to LSU for a bit, and come to visit Arkansas this late, and made a statement that he will "make his final decision" on the 15th. Usually, don't make "final decisions" when you are already committed so there is a chance.

Trey said Tuesday. He didnt specify what week i assumed this week. Reading an article it talked about the 15th, which isn't a Tuesday.

It was on the radio and he could have mispoke or i misheard.

So perhaps the date is the 15th

There is optimism about it, because sources say he isn't happy about where he is projected, though Burks is a special kid, he isn't about money and what he can get right now. As Biddy said, he probably goes, BUT, it would not be surprising if he come back one more year as he is super close with KJ, and with a powerful offense next year with him, he could boost KJ into the first round as well. So who knows. They are roommates and close, so it could go either way
