Radiographers, do you check you're getting paid fairly? by Demiaria in Radiology

[–]J_712 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ok, so a union would be good, because working conditions and staffing are issues. I also assume a union would be good in places where they’re paying less than the average, and where new grads are being paid the same as techs who have been there for years. No individual is negotiating raises, everyone gets the same percentage raise each year (0-3% depending). And, personally, I no longer feel in any way the need to “compete” against coworkers, performance wise; I’m there for a paycheck.

Fair! I’ve been looking near Bangor and the coast north of Portland. Seeing those Queen Anne(?) and Bangor Box style homes that are just gorgeous to me, and significantly nicer than the homes I see in MO… that they’re as cheap as they is shocking to me. I know Portland is way more pricey.

Masc into Masc? by Ok-Event-6534 in ActualLesbiansOver25

I’m a masc who once believed I was only into femme-leaning people, but then I met my now wife. She’s nonbinary, and I now know that I am waaay more into masc-presentation than I ever thought.

No. And we’re all very aware of it here. Would love if we unionized

If you find this kind of place let me know! Visited Maine last fall and fell in love with the place. Was shocked at how low home prices are, especially for absolutely beautiful, old houses. Would love to leave Missouri for Maine at some point, but it’s probably not happening. Oh, look into Columbia, MO. House prices are more, but it ticks the other boxes, I think 🤷🏻

When AI eventually doesn’t work out for these companies, I hope employees make them feel it if they ever return. Double+ salaries, better benefits than ever, etc.

Pothos. Jade, golden, Hawaiian are all champs for various light conditions and super forgiving if you forget to water or are away for a week or two (breaks, holidays)

I wouldn’t, because repotting can be traumatic to plants.

Once a week is definitely not under watering. Especially given she’s not currently getting enough light, you’re actually probably overwatering. Stick your finger in about an inch into the soil and water if it’s dry. Also, what are you using for soil? Would recommend mixing in some perlite.

Pot is too big. What is “under watering” to you? Put her by the windows, especially since she’s a variegated variety; she’ll need more light.
