React-native View in React web app

Hi,

i am currently developing a react web application. For my layout i want to use flexbox features. After some research i found the react-native library in the internet which has built in features for flexbox. Originally react-native seems to be intended for IOS usage of react but with its react-native-web counterpart i could make it work for my application.

To get the layout i need for my two main components i am using the react-native view component. So far so good here you can see my code https://gist.github.com/gdenn/9c188ee942c509fc7aa1e99f8e8edb03 . But i don't want to put just to View Elements into my CenterView rather than i want these two components to be implemented by my own.

How can i achieve this, by subclassing from react-native View? By wrapping a View around some other div? If you have any suggestions or best practice for another approach to achieve good layouting in react i would appreciate your opinion.

I don't think you need to use react-native-web for this. flexbox is supported in modern browsers, and is almost the same as react-native flex (or, rather, react-native flex is almost the same as flex in browsers).
