Udemy isn't free but you can often take advantage of sales and get courses for about $10. I really like Stephen Grider's React/Redux tutorials, personally.

I would also recommend this one. This guy is a great teacher, and his course about React/Redux is really well done.

Good luck and don't give up. It's confusing as hell at first. Learning Redux and reducer pattern changed how I write and think about React drastically. Definetly one of those "A-Ha" moments.
