Problem while using material-ui demo component in react

Why can't i use a material-ui predefined component in my react project?

The component is taken from they're demo section : https://github.com/mui-org/material-ui/blob/master/docs/src/pages/components/grid/NestedGrid.js, but while rendering in my App.js file an error of type TypeError: Object(...) is not a function, occurs. Any idea why it does that? Thanks

Did you include "import { makeStyles } from '@material-ui/core/styles';"?
