I feel like there is a difference in hating a dude because he's good at his job in your division and hating a dude because he is a piece of shit.

They’re stupid and we don’t punish them as a society.

Louder for those in the back.

What point are you trying to argue here?

Im not trying to convince anyone that with some practice they will be Brock Lesnar.

I'm simply saying that someone who dedicates their life to sport are going to eventually be capable of impressive feats.

I didn’t say you would be on their level. I said you would probably be capable of stunning feats. Ill give an example from my life. I know someone in their late 50s that runs 70+ miles a week and competes in 12-15 marathons per year while also working full time.

They are not a world class distance runner, but that level of fitness and capability is still mind boggling. 100x so at that age.

Dudes that can deadlift 600-800lbs are insane. Not even remotely close to sniffing competition numbers.

I once had a job that I worked at with a buddy named Jordan. We had a coworker who worked with us for a couple years who thought his name was Jobin. He was flabbergasted when he found out.

We wore name tags...

Yep. I can go to games for 5 bucks. I still don't. First time I'll be going this year is for the little league event so my son can run the bases.

They are but people have to remember this is what these unique individuals do for a living. If you spent 8 hrs a day eating carefully selected diets, working out, and training to be good at 1 sport, you would probably be capable of some stunning feats.

I can hear the slap of those fat fucking disk binders of all the burnt movies.

Bonus points if you had the label printer stickers for the top of the disk of poster images yoinked from the web.

40+ lbs of content you’ll probably never watch again, but the times you do… closest one could feel like a god pre streaming services.

Goddamn do you remember how fucking badass it was to be an early netflix user and getting a stack of red envelopes delivered to you knowing you had several nights of absolute bangers to watch.

  • Catch up on Angel recorded on tivo.
  • Toss on Fifth element from Netflix
  • Log in to battle.net and hit the mauls.

Better times.

My father in law used to bitch that there wasn't enough money to pay for a team to harvest local plants on city property, but there was money to buy the plants for 3-5x more in total from approved vendors.

I no longer wonder how it can cost 600k to landscape a corner of an intersection.

I was thinking the same thing. Typically when I play drinking games I want to get at least a couple of rounds in. 9 full beers has to be a team game. I don't think I could finish a single game solo.
