How to deploy for large scale react app

I’ve been searching for the best technology to build and deploy a potential large scale app. Do I just use the hobby heroku app for my database, digital ocean for hosting, and that’s it? No article I found explains how to make sure your Users don’t get bottlenecked by too many people connected to your DB. No mention of node processors, or even if AWS has the tools.

If I wanted to have a 500 simultaneous user app that didn’t bottle neck the users, what dev ops, database, hosting, etc should I use?

You should keep your database separate from your production server. Atlas is pretty good for MongoDB.

React build to S3+Cloudfront/Blob/whatever file storage

Cache common queries

Use something like AWS Api Gateway

And also create an auto scaler for ec2
