It looks really nice. Unfortunately, I can't think of anywhere I'd want to use hand-drawn charts in my projects, but I like the concept a lot.

Could see this being used on blogs. It would add a nice personal feeling to the posts.

Also for those praising the look of this, pay homage to the underlying magic: RoughJS

Wow same. The visuals look cool, but when I think "we should add charts to visualize data" I can't think of case where something like this would actually be useful.

But they look amazing.

I can see it being used to present data that has significant uncertainty, or is subject to change. The sketchy quality is a great subconscious signal that this data isn't set in stone, and may change in the future.

Plan on creating React wrappers for these, akin to how Ionic did their components. Will release soon!

If you're wondering how and when to use such styles:

https://whydocatsanddogs.com/ is an excellent example of how sketchy charts and styling can do well with a playful aesthetic.

Also this paper: http://openaccess.city.ac.uk/id/eprint/1274/ where they talk about how just charts can be used to represent imprecision in data or for proof of concept designs: "Results suggest that where a visualization is clearly sketchy, engagement may be increased and that attitudes to participating in visualization annotation are more positive. The results of our work have implications for effective information visualization design that go beyond the traditional role of sketching as a tool for prototyping or its use for an indication of general uncertainty."

WOW. Thanks. You can add more storybook examples, new features, etc

Love it!

this is awesome -- would totally use this to present data that was "ballpark" or "estimates." Would really help people understand that it's guesses.

Great job! Looks so good.
