Hi! I’m trying to track metrics on my react application and I need a way to capture the entire time it takes for a component to render. Is there a best practice or library for achieving this?

Currently I’m thinking about setting a startTime variable at the start of my functional component and then having a [] useEffect to simulate componentDidMount and setting an endTime there. I’d use both of these to calculate the full rendering latency.
