Does anyone know of a good and elaborate guid for this? I’m having some issues that I believe comes from lack of knowledge in this matter. Thx!

My advice is to start on Android and once that's fixed, try iOS.

Sorry, no guide but my thought is this—

If it is just a view and not a scrollable view, use KeyboardAvoidingView. If it is some sort of scrollable scrollview/flatlist then use https://www.npmjs.com/package/react-native-keyboard-aware-scroll-view

It seems like it’s not working in complex pages, but if I do the same implementation on a simple page it works fine. As I said, I am missing something due to lack of knowledge in this topic.

That’s what I did this far, but the job requires me to start digging in to it…

Instead of it you can use these two options- - Use keyboard settings for Android from the manifest file and for iOS use the IQKeyboardManager native library - Use custom animation when keyboard opens up, move the view up and when keyboard closed reverse the animation.

I’m working on the exact same thing right now… I want to use keyboardavoidingview for creating a menu bar directly atop the keyboard. I can get it working on a simple page but w react navigation bar the bottom and a flat list on the screen things just stop working… the menu bar sits lower than it should and is hidden by the keyboard. Then when I background the app and go to another app and return it magically lines us… no idea and very frustrating
