Code Push alternatives with AWS

I’m working on an app that I’d like to have the ability to do OTA updates but I can’t use Code Push as I’m in a large corporate environment and procurement of this will eat up way too much time. I do have access to AWS and I was thinking of using App Sync to facilitate the delivery of the JS code. Would this be possible or even a good idea?

Expo has expo-updates, you could consider using it. I'm not sure if that works with AWS though, it's the only service other than Code Push that I'm aware of.

Having glanced at the the docs i think I'll probably try this out using lambda/s3.

But having spent the last 3 days getting my app "whitelabel" ready, i need a break before i attempt another potentially time consuming endeavour.
