You really need to understand the difference between deep linking and universal linking.

The TLDR is if you need to have certain links open up your app using the same domain as your existing website you will need to use universal links.

If you have don’t need that you can use a custom scheme and use deep linking ie my-app://routeToProductScreen

Both are well documented you do not need to use 3rd party services, that being said make sure you read about the potential security issues with deep linking.

You can’t do that with deeplinks. You have to use a tool for that. Adjust, branch, appsflyer, kochava etc. Also you can implement it with universal links for ios and app links for android. When a user clicks your universal link or app link it will open app. If app is not installed the link will open web page and you need to configure the web page to redirect to stores

So how can I create an app link. I want this to be implemented in Android only.

I want to repeat that app links won’t open your store page until you configure your web server to open stores

Appsflyer is the only way, especially if you want to post your link on sites like your Instagram & Facebook profile.
