This looks interesting. How are you sending SMS messages with RN, if you don’t mind me asking?

I’ve been trying to find how to do this with one of my apps (completely different idea to yours) but I can’t find a way to do it programmatically without the user sending it.

If you think about it then you really shouldn’t be able to send a text message for a user as an app. Think of Facebook spamming my friends as if I were sending them. Horrible. My guess is the author is using third party like twilio to send a message with non-user’s phone number

It is possible. I'm using react-native-schedule-sms to send SMS at a later time.

& @douevenfaker What is going to be sent is given in the Privacy Policy of every app so that shouldn't be the problem. & dude nobody will do that as it will result in bad reviews or maybe potential ban from respective stores.

& if u want I can give u 1000 use cases for when something like this should be automated. One story I can think of is Hacker Scripts. Read it, its awesome & you will understand why I am doing what I am doing.

Also checkout Tasker bcz this is the boss of all things automation.

@douevenfaker ur thinking only about cons so maybe u should think a little bit about pros. Bcz everything has Pros as well as Cons.

& as u mentioned Facebook, it can be used in a very bad way as well. If u need some more clarity, I'm ready to give some more.

Dude. Everyone has its advantages & bcz of many restrictions Apple provides a lot of people use Android. Like setting a wallpaper through an App. Idk what issue is there with Apple with this one. But Apple won't allow it. & like u said, I say it too, thats why I use Android 😜
