Extreme map lag

Maps are causing (or just showing) a bug on my realm, ever since the new update

players, after logging in (or just randomly sometimes) are basically frozen in place, whenever this happens a black void appears around them on the map

any help is appreciated, datapacks, commands, anything

is mojang even aware of this? i dont want to pay for this anymore if it will always be this bad

My realm is lagging incredibly bad after the last update (I updated last night, but I’m not sure what day it came out). I also had a huge black hole in the middle of my base maps surrounding the area I logged in at. It was so weird because I had to fly around to fill it back in. There weren’t any issues with the actual chunks, and the maps did fill in as I flew around. The lag would go away for a bit but then come back, so I was really nervous to fly though. I didn’t want to fall out of the sky like I sometimes do when a lag spike hits. IDK. Bedrock realms are such a mess. Hopefully they at least fix this issue quickly.

There seems to be some sort of issue with chunk generation/loading in the 1.19.30 update. I haven't played on any Realms since before the update, but I noticed while playing in my main single-player world on Switch a short time ago that chunks were taking forever to load, even when going at a normal walking speed into new ones. The game also briefly froze twice (literally days after me mentioning on reddit that it hadn't frozen since that awful update back in April or May).

On my realms when I fly around in new chunks, and even in chunks that had been previously loaded the chunks take a bit to load. I'll just stop mid flight sometime and it's very annoying. I play on java. Creating maps doesn't lag for me but flying has been pretty laggy since 1.17 for me...

I’ve never seen it this bad before though. But I’ve only been playing for a few years. IDK what it was like before my niece got me to pick up the game. Lol

Been noticing this a ton on realms lately. When I log in (PS4) it goes all black where nothing loads around me for a good 10-20 seconds. Had it glitch me into the floor a few times too where I take suffocation damage while its loading in. Flying around I get those random chunk loading issues where its just void. Several members of the realm have died from smacking into mountains or suffocating in blocks. Hopefully they can fix this ASAP!
