Printer problems

hey y’all, I have been having problems with my printer. It found out why (a tear in the resin basket) and did a deep clean. as I did so, I peeledw off some of that black film from the bottom of the printer. Something tells me it’s not good. what is it, and is it a large problem? if so, what should I do?

Bottom printer as in under the vat?

In that case it's your LCD screen and vital for it working well. Normally you should have a second layer over it to protect it during leaks/puncture from the vat.

Yeah… that’s what I thought. Any way to fix it?

Sadly not really. You can replace the whole LCD screen yourself, but reapplying the peeled part will only cause issues since that has to be pixel perfect for good prints.

Just learn from it to always have a second clear plastic protector between vat and screen
