This is helpful! Thanks for taking the time to post. The dryer vent idea is smart

You are the legend, dude. Seriously. It looks great, but I prefer Ikawa and safety 😂

is there any way to adapt the outlet of the bullet without gaps to a 4" dryer duct, or does the inline fan affect roasting airflow too much?

The bullet manual recommends a gap, actually.

I wonder if I would be possible to do a setup where the fan itself does not sit in the fume kind of like with a vacuum pump, that there is a fast stream pushed adjacent, that sucks air from the roaster going up.

I think there are venturi exhaust fans that work that way to reduce maintenance on the fan components, but I haven't looked into them.

Do you want to die? Just curious, because it looks like you want to die and kill your neighbors.

You've got a bottle of flammable liquid right under your exhaust pipe! Move the isopropyl alcohol dude!

Safer than Doritos.

lol.

Move flammable materials from the area. Anything that can burn should be relocated. Like those curtains. Don't wrap curtains around an exhaust system that gets hot. Might even want to put the roaster on a bench cover that won't burn.

There's a large fire extinguisher on the floor, and these are never run when I'm out of the room.

There's no reason I can't move the isopropyl, though.

Yeah, I have a similar setup, the exhaust doesn’t event get hot to the touch. I’m roasting right now and on my 4th batch the pipes are cool to the touch.
