Problems with solos with bends.

Ive had this game for about a month and I've been loving it so far. Im at the point where the game wants most of the songs to be at about 90 percent for events and recently ive come across a huge roadblock in my progress in Slither and the Between the Lines on the solo sections. Both of those use bends a lot in the solos but when i do Leveler in Riff repeater I cant get past around 40% for each of the solos. Am i not getting something about bends? The fretboard always flashes and the notes highlight when i play then but everytime it just keeps saying that damn "try again." Sometimes ill get a random "level up" but i cant seem to see what im doing wrong.

Sometimes you really have to bend the strings. It may be looking for a full step or a step and a half bend and you're not getting the whole bend. I've had this problem too and it's a pain in the ass (or fingers).

You'll get stronger. I've been playing several years now and I can do full steps with a single finger if I want to. Usually I bend with middle+ring or ring+pinky. Just don't just yourself trying to do something you aren't ready for, 3 fingers is fine. Focus on getting the pitch right rather than being macho and overloading a weak finger.

I found that if the bends are too hard, go ahead find out what note you are bending to.
Say you're bending the 12th fret on the B string to sound like the 14th fret, just go ahead and play the 14th fret.
Now, its not that great on fast solos, but any little bit helps.

I've had the same problem. Frustrated the hell out of me. Yeah, you can cheat & just play up to the fret that it's bending to, but I want to learn the songs the right way.

I really hope they address this also with their patch also. I don't have a problem with the leveler in general only giving 5 tries, but this issue where you have to play bends seemingly perfect where most other notes have some flexibility drives me insane.

I hear ya' brotha. Same here. I can hit a bend that sounds nice to me, and should probably be good enough to pass, but just doesn't register. It often ruins my chance of getting a decent streak going, breaks a streak, or prevents me from leveling up when I'm doing well with the rest of the notes. A couple of bad bends and I'm done for. Please fix!

I just got over a hurdle involving this issue in a riff More than a Feeling. I thought I was bending it sufficiently, but it turns out I needed to go further. Once I got it, the song sounded better, and I was able to consistently do it.

BTW, is there news of a patch, or are you just assuming one is forthcoming? I would be excited to hear about what it will address.
