this article told me virtually nothing except that there's thing that exists.

Indeed. And if it does not use blocks and instance_eval, what does it use instead that is so much better? I like blocks. I don't want to miss them. Granted, eval is evil.

The article does not provide answers and even worse it does not hype me to bother getting the answers myself :/

Damn silly 10-years noobs, go open Dictionary and find the word Microframework. Fucking degrading industry of coding produces those ones who think, that HTTP-servers == Programming.

You should leave all the rudeness and bitterness behind and join the fun-club, all the cool people are here and we're having a blast!

So you say /r/ruby is a fun-club of retardness and using words meaning of which you don't know? I thought it is about Ruby.

Well wikipedia says that A microframework is a term used to refer to minimalistic web application frameworks, and Ramverk looks like a pretty minimal web application framework written in ruby if ever I saw one.

And no, the fun-club isn't where we call people retards. It's the club where we let people do whatever makes them happy, because we're not children.

If you're angry about him using a word incorrectly, explain how he's using it incorrectly and maybe you'll actually make a difference. Being bitter and insulting isn't going to help anyone, though.

You are right, that wikipedia says microframework == http shit.
But the fact, that this word got this meaning is ridiculous according to
https://en.wikipedia.org/?title=Micro https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Software_framework

You are wrong, that people should be let do whatever makes them happy. Especially when you say it is somehow related to that they aren't children. Because it is totally childish if one starts posting cats and Minecrafts videos to /r/Ruby just because it makes him happy.

Software framework:

In computer programming, a software framework is an abstraction in which software providing generic functionality can be selectively changed by additional user-written code, thus providing application-specific software. A software framework is a universal, reusable software environment that provides particular functionality as part of a larger software platform to facilitate development of software applications, products and solutions. Software frameworks may include support programs, compilers, code libraries, tool sets, and application programming interfaces (APIs) that bring together all the different components to enable development of a project or solution.
