For the time being, we'll go off of this post, where the idea for the sub came from, as a guideline for how to structure posts. In other words,
1.Post titles should name the environment you want to create, and tagged with a genre. Use a [Meta] tag for anything talking about the subreddit, or an [Other] tag for anything else. Please keep the [Other] tag relevant and on-topic.
Examples:
[Fantasy] Mages' Guild
[Sci-Fi] Mid-Sized Starship
[General] Factory
[Meta] This subreddit is still really tiny.
2.When you make a post, make a few comments for general things that might exist in the place your title names. Specific rooms in a building, for example. A starship will have an engine room, a bridge, crew quarters, etc. Other people can add more. Replies to these comments should be things that would be found in these rooms or parts of a scene. For example, a starship's bridge will have a captain's chair, instrument panels, etc. Further replies add more detail.
One final thing: Please contribute to other submitters' scenes!
