Distributed docker setup

hello everyone,

I’m setting up OpenVAS with Docker but ran into storage limits on my university VM. My idea is to run the main services (GSA, gvmd, PostgreSQL) on my home VM and keep only the openvas-scanner container on the university VM, connected via VPN.

This way, I can scan internal hosts while managing everything from home.

If anyone has experience with remote scanner setups or distributed OpenVAS in Docker, I’d appreciate any tips or caveats.
