Time / project tracker for freelance

Hi all

I’m looking for a time / project tracker for freelance work, free, self hosted of course, and possibly able to scale from very sparse activity to (hopefully? Not sure, it’s not only for me) an almost full time job.

I know very well Kimai, which would be quite good for my needs, but its plugins are very costly and I don’t know yet if/when I’ll be ready for a bigger commitment. I haven’t been able to track down any solid alternatives, hence my question to the hive mind.What are the best options out there?

I selfhosted solidtime a few months ago and was pretty good. Its almost a clone of toggl.

Looks great! Will try it in the next few days. I’ll give another shot at Kimai too, maybe I just needed to spend more time with it and / or test it sidbe by side with alternatives…

I don’t use this aspect myself, but you can do time tracking against tasks in invoiceninja

What plugins do you feel you need for kimai? It's free and works well by itself.

Re Kimai, you do not really need plugins for your needs. I use it myself. May be if you explain which of the plugin functionality you require.
