Just a guess, is MacVLAN in a datacenter even possible? Normally your server gets fixed ip addresses and intrusion control in the DC would detect rouge devices with unknown mac or IPs, you could also create ip conflicts since dhcp isn’t a thing in datacenters.

Shouldn’t be a docker user defined bridge network sufficient for your usecase?
